D&S Welding was founded in 1994 by Don Snyder. It’s located on Highway 191 in Underwood, Iowa. He started out in the old Geise’s Hardware Store. A new shop was built on the property, the hardware store was later torn down.

Don began building flatbeds which grew into a thriving welding business. In order to meet the area’s metalworking needs, he offered custom fabrication and trailer repairs.

In 2018, a 5′ x 10′ plasma table was added. This addition has allowed D&S to offer endless custom options in metalwork ranging from mass production of washers and brackets, century farm signage and personal monograms.

In 2019, a pipe bender was added to the shop. Offering roll cages, push bumpers and headache racks specific to your racing or personal vehicle needs.

In 2020, Don expanded once more by adding the equipment for powder coating and sand blasting.
